Course overview
This course is designed to introduce students to the timeless techniques of classical oil painting, emphasising the layered approach. From underpainting to glazing, you will learn how to build depth and texture in your work using methods perfected by the Old Masters. Over four weeks, you will complete a still life painting, progressing from drawing and underpainting through to the colour layer and final touches. Beginners and artists of all skill levels are welcome.
All materials are provided. Bring your own brushes.
