CAS was established with the goal of preserving and cultivating the traditional craft of drawing and painting. Located in the historic village of Slane, CAS is a place of disciplined practice, focused learning, and a community of dedicated visual thinkers.

Nina Ruminska
Nina is an award-winning professional painter who trained in Florence, Italy. Her work is showcased in public collections, including Leinster House, and is also held in the private homes of many collectors. Nina is an experienced art tutor who has taught at different venues around Ireland and Northern Ireland. She currently teaches life drawing at NCAD. With a genuine passion for both painting and art education, she aims to make complex concepts more accessible by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps.
