Course overview
This course is designed to introduce students to the timeless techniques of classical oil painting, emphasising a layered approach. From underpainting to glazing, you’ll learn how to build depth and texture in your work using methods perfected by Old Masters. Over six weeks, you will complete three life studies, progressively increasing in complexity, where you’ll put these techniques into practice. Beginners and artists of all skill level are welcome.
Essential materials provided. Bring your own brushes.
