Overview
In this workshop, we will explore the grisaille technique, a traditional method of painting in monochrome, using just black and white. Working with a range of neutral values, we will focus on understanding the structure of the human head. By working without colour, we can concentrate on how light falls across the planes of the head and creates the illusion of three-dimensional form.
