Course overview
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in portraiture. In the first four weeks, we will focus on the fundamentals, including head proportions, feature placement, the geometric structure of the face, and key anatomical landmarks. During the final two weeks, we will put these skills into practice by drawing from a live model. By the end of the course, you’ll have the tools to create accurate, realistic portraits with a deep understanding of the structure of the human head. While primarily a drawing course, we will also work with other mediums such as tempera and soft pastel.
All materials are provided.
